BlastPass FAQs
WHAT IS BLASTPASS?
BlastPass is a contactless option for food and beverages that uses RFID technology storing your credits for an easy payment process. BlastPass saves you time and stress with no need for exchanging dirty cash at your event!
WHAT IS RFID?
RFID stands for Radio Frequency Identification. In simple terms, it’s a short-range digital chip that can store small amounts of data. You might have already come across RFID before – it’s the same technology used in many contactless payment and transport systems worldwide.
HOW DO THE CARDS & WRISTBANDS WORK?
Credits are stored on your card or wristband. As you make purchases with vendors the credits are deducted. At every purchase location you are able to see the amount deducted and how many credits are left on your BlastPass. If you run out of credits you can always add more at the BlastPass Refill Stations.
HOW OFTEN CAN I USE MY BLASTPASS?
The BlastPass is based on credits, as long as you have available credits you can use your BlastPass any time during the event! Additional credits can be refilled anytime during the event.
ARE THERE ANY FEES ASSOCIATED WITH BLASTPASS?
There is a one-time, $2 startup fee upon your initial purchase of your BlastPass. This fee covers the price of the card or wristband and the technology used to track and manage the credits tied to each BlastPass.
