Mutton Bustin’ is a fun, crowd-favorite event where young children get to experience the thrill of rodeo by riding a sheep, just like cowboys and cowgirls ride bulls! Kids (usually ages 4–7 and under a set weight limit) hold on tight and see how long they can stay on as the sheep dashes out of the chute. It’s all about fun, courage, and smiles—no experience required! To enter, parents can register their child in advance through the event’s website or at the fair’s registration booth (depending on availability). Spots fill up quickly, so early registration is encouraged.
